Welcome to Reading Bridge!
Reading Bridge is a FREE tutoring program which began in Sioux Falls, SD in the summer of 2001. Through partnerships with Siouxland Libraries and area schools, we have expanded
locations for your convenience.
Our mission is to help bridge the summer gap by providing free tutoring at school and public libraries for Kindergarten through 5th grade students.

Thank you to our partners:
Siouxland Libraries and the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation.
We hope the time spent with the dozens of amazing tutors will help students dive into the school year ready to go!
With the help of generous sponsors, Reading Bridge offers tutoring for free at several different locations around the Sioux Falls area. Eight sessions are offered for free during the month of July. Twice a week for one hour, students meet with a qualified, trained tutor.
It is a great opportunity to give your student extra support
and motivation during the long summer months!
Each tutoring session consists of reading to students, reading with students, writing, and making words (spelling). Students are encouraged to bring a library card to check out books each week. This connection to our local libraries has been a powerful motivator for students.
